Mission of the Homeowners Association

Our primary purpose is organizing the recreational, social and cultural activities desired by residents and facilitating discussion and communication among the Members and Management of Oak Run.
A quick overview of Oak Run
Oak Run is an active adult, 55+, gated community in Ocala, Florida. In this country club retirement community you'll find more than golf at Royal Oaks to keep you busy. There are nearly 100 clubs and organizations to join, such as the Ambassadors, Baby Boomers, Ballroom Dance, Bingo, Computer, Fine Arts, Genealogy, Library, Line Dance, Motorcycle, Performing Arts, Singles, Travel, and Veterans. A complete list of clubs and orgs can be viewed > HERE.

We have 4 activity centers with 2 fitness centers; Orchid Club, Palm Grove Club, Island Club and Aquatic Center, including 6 pools, 5 whirlpool spas and 2 saunas. You'll have plenty of fun in Oak Run.
About HOA fees
We are NOT a traditional HOA, we are simply a social organization, a non-profit HA. There are no HOA fees. The Oak Run Homeowners Association (ORHA) does not own any of the common areas. They are all owned by Oak Run Associates, Ltd. (DECCA), the developer. The residents pay a "Services Fee"  to DECCA. The  ORHA Board of Directors and various Officers are in charge of the use and scheduling of all common area venues.
The monthly Services Fee covers weekly garbage and yard waste pick-up, 24-hour security, basic cable TV (22 channels), community Channel-12 TV (info station for clubs, etc.), use of all facilities, and the maintenance of all recreational and common areas. The average Services Fee is $118.**
